David Sloan

David Sloan has been exceeding expectations for most of his life. In 2011, he graduated high school as valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 average. With a penchant for mathematics and a propensity for helping others, David tutored his peers in high school and college, where he was slated to complete his actuarial science degree in just three years. Not wanting to cut his college experience short, David added a second major, finance, completing both degrees in four years. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, he obtained his licensing while apprenticing under another financial advisor.  In early 2020, at the age of 26, David made a leap of faith, stepping out on his own as a business owner and founding Sloan Financial Solutions, LLC, headquartered in Apple Valley, Minnesota.

Sloan Financial Solutions takes a holistic approach to financial advising. They have a genuine desire to help people solve financial problems and plan for the future, fitting together the puzzle pieces of retirement planning, estate planning, college saving and more.  They go above and beyond, even referring clients to attorneys, accountants, or insurance professionals. Since 2020 the company has experienced consistent, substantial growth leading to opening a second branch in 2022 in his hometown of Barron, Wisconsin. Customer referrals are their primary source of new business, David shared, saying, “People see I am passionate about helping them and that I truly care about their success and our business is growing rapidly as a result.”
