From the moment Farah Mir founded HeraStone Global Consulting in 2021, she knew it would be much more than a consultancy. The launch followed a pivotal period in her career: as a senior global transformation leader at Roche Pharmaceutical, Farah led the program office through a substantial organizational transformation involving over 5,000 associates worldwide. This experience ignited her vision to not only guide purpose-driven, transformative change but to be a long-term partner to organizations that are making a difference in the world, giving rise to HeraStone Global Consulting. She has pioneered the establishment of global and national project management offices, effectively harmonized roles in cross-functional teams, and consistently demonstrated her knack for fostering collaboration and ensuring project success on time and on budget.

 

A notable recent success for HeraStone Global is its partnership with a Canadian healthcare organization as it undertook a once-in-a-generation overhaul spanning a whole province and the complete continuum of care. This initiative involved guiding decisions with executive stakeholders, including C-level executives, VPs, government officials, and deputy ministers, while also creating collaborative government platforms to facilitate policy changes. At the same time, Farah was instrumental in streamlining the organization’s drug development submission process, resulting in a remarkable reduction in global drug filing times from 26 weeks to 12 weeks.

 

In spite of these accomplishments, Farah remains firmly rooted in her mission.
